Who we are

We’re a family of four—two grownups, two kids, a dog named Truman, and a cat named Sushi. Together, we decided to turn our love of biking (and our love of helping people) into something bigger: The Church of Bike.

It all started with a few extra bikes in the garage and a simple thought: every kid should have one of these. Not just for fun, but for freedom. For getting to school. For discovering their own neighborhood. For feeling that magical “I can go anywhere” feeling.

So we got to work. Now, we collect gently used bikes, raise money for new ones, and get them into the hands (and under the feet!) of kids who need them most. We believe that bikes change lives—and we’ve seen it firsthand.

We’re also on a mission to make the streets safer for everyone who rides. That means raising awareness for bike safety, supporting bike-to-school programs, and encouraging towns to build better, more bike-friendly roads.

The Church of Bike isn’t a building—it’s a belief: that movement is freedom, and every child deserves both.

We’re just a little family trying to make a big difference—with some help from good people like you.
